QR Code Research

Companies are using QR codes to draw attention to their companies in a convenient and quicker way to provide people with something valuable and that they are interested in a more timely fashion. Companies uses the codes for advertising product, selling product, to invite people to their websites or sign up for email newsletters and even to find them online through Facebook or Twitter. Companies are posting videos and providing customers with ways to leave feedback. QR codes are input and output devices because you have to put information into the code when creating it and a person has to take information out of the code to get the information that is provided in the code. The benefits of a QR code is the convenience, effective and affordable ways of using it and the things that it links you too. The downside of QR codes would mostly be the technological downfalls. If a person does not have a phone that is compatible with a scanner, they will not be able to use a code. If a person wants to use a code in a tunnel, it would be a matter of not having enough time or connection to use the code. If the code is not provided correctly, people may not be able to scan the code.
